Here are three things to know about Mr. Horrar.
1. Prior to joining Medical Facilities Corp., Mr. Horrar maintained a 19-year career with Franklin, Tenn.-based Community Health Systems. He served in a variety of positions with the for-profit hospital operator, including division president, where he oversaw hospitals in Indiana, Tennessee and West Virginia.
2. Mr. Horrar also served as an executive with Louisville, Ky.-based Humana for more than 11 years.
3. He received a bachelor’s degree in economics from Danville, Ky.-based Centre College and received a master’s degree in healthcare administration from San Antonio-based Trinity University.
