Christann Vasquez is Ascension Texas’ new COO

St. Louis-based Ascension has tapped Christann Vasquez to be COO of Ascension Texas, effective Sept. 1, according to Community Impact Newspaper.

In her new role, Ms. Vasquez will oversee operations for Ascension Texas, which includes the Ascension Seton network, based in Austin, and the Ascension Providence network, based in Waco.

Ms. Vasquez is currently regional hospital president for Dell Seton Medical Center at the University of Texas, Ascension Seton Medical Center Austin and Ascension Seton Shoal Creek, all located in Austin. She was the inaugural president of Dell Seton Medical Center.

She succeeds Andy Davis, recently named president and CEO of Ascension Texas.
