Nick Mendyka was appointed executive vice president and CFO of Children’s National in Washington, D.C.
Mr. Mendyka joins from Philadelphia-based Jefferson Health, where he served as executive vice president of enterprise financial operations, according to a July 13 hospital news release. He previously held finance leadership roles at Minneapolis-based Allina Health and Charlottesville, Va.-based UVA Health, leading financial planning, operational improvement and enterprise finance initiatives at each organization.
At Children’s National, Mr. Mendyka will oversee the organization’s financial strategy and operations, according to the release.
Mr. Mendyka succeeds Aldwin Lindsay, who retired in April after serving as CFO since 2020.
Children’s National is the Washington, D.C., region’s only standalone children’s hospital.
