Chester County Hospital and Health System President Retires

H.L. Perry Pepper, the Philadelphia region’s longest-tenured hospital president, has announced his retirement from The Chester County Hospital and Health System, effective Sept. 30, according to a report by the Philadelphia Business Journal.

Mr. Pepper has led Chester County Hospital and Health System in West Chester, Pa., for 33 years.

During his time with the health system, Mr. Pepper helped significantly expand the services offered by Chester County Hospital by developing affiliations with the Children’s Hospital of Philadelphia, the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania in Philadelphia and the Cleveland Clinic.

Mr. Pepper said he will remain with the hospital until his successor is named.
