Chesapeake Regional Healthcare names 2 new executives

Chesapeake (Va.) Regional Healthcare selected Amber Egyud, DNP, RN, as its COO and chief nursing officer and Raymond McCue, MD, as CMO.

Ms. Egyud most recently served as vice president of patient care services and chief nursing officer at Forbes Hospital in Monroeville, Pa, part of Pittsburgh-based Allegheny Health Network. She is a board member for the Southwestern Pennsylvania Organization of Nurse Leaders and the Palladium Risk Retention Group. She assumed her new role Sept. 11.

Dr. McCue was previously regional CMO for Bon Secours Hampton Roads (Va.) health system and system medical director for patient safety and reliability at Marriottsville, Md.-based Bon Secours Health System. An obstetrician-gynecologist by training, he also holds an MBA from Auburn (Ala.) University. He started his new role Sept. 5.
