2. He also served as CEO of VHS West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, Ill., and VHS Westlake Hospital in Melrose Park, Ill.
3. He earned his MBA degree from the Hagan Graduate School of Business Administration at Iona College in New Rochelle, N.Y.
4. He succeeds Anthony Rajkumar, who resigned.
5. NYC Health + Hospitals/Coney Island includes 371 beds and more than 2,900 staff members.
