CEO picked to lead Saint Francis Hospital-Memphis: 5 things to know

Audrey Gregory, PhD, MSN, BSN, RN, has been named CEO of Saint Francis Hospital-Memphis (Tenn.).

Here are five things to know about Dr. Gregory.

1. She succeeds David Archer, who recently announced his retirement.

2. In her new role, Dr. Gregory is responsible for overseeing all areas of operations at Saint Francis Hospital-Memphis and Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett, also in Memphis. Chris Locke, CEO at Saint Francis Hospital-Bartlett, will remain in his position.

3. Prior to her new role, she was CEO of at Placentia (Calif.)-Linda Hospital.

4. She also previously held various other roles at hospitals owned by Dallas-based Tenet Healthcare. They include director of emergency services, director of nursing and CNO at Delray Medical Center in Delray Beach, Fla., as well as COO of Saint Francis Hospital - Memphis.

5. Dr. Gregory holds a doctorate degree in global leadership concentrating in corporate and organizational management from Lynn University in Boca Raton, Fla. She earned a bachelor's degree in nursing and two masters degrees in nursing and healthcare administration from Armstrong Atlantic State University in Savannah, Ga.
