CentraState Healthcare System names Thomas Scott COO

Freehold, N.J.-based CentraState Healthcare System has announced the appointment of Thomas W. Scott as COO and senior vice president.

Mr. Scott has served in numerous leadership positions in health systems and hospitals in Connecticut and New Jersey. Most recently, he served as COO of Chilton Medical Center in Pompton Plains, N.J., now part of Morristown, N.J.-based Atlantic Health System. Before that, he was vice president of ambulatory services and executive director of operations and clinical effectiveness at Stamford (Conn.) Hospital.
