Centra CEO Michael Bryant Resigns, E.W. Tibbs Jr., is Expected Replacement

Lynchburg, Va.-based Centra Health has announced the resignation of CEO Michael Bryant.

“I have enjoyed my time with Centra, and have confidence in the management team I am leaving behind and Centra’s strategic direction,” said Mr. Bryant in a news release.

E.W. Tibbs Jr., is expected to be named the health system’s next president and CEO. Mr. Tibbs currently serves as Centra’s senior vice president for operations, as well as president and CEO of Centra Southside Community Hospital in Farmville, Va.
