Here are three things to know about Mr. Hunter.
1. He will be the fourth CEO in the organization’s 22-year history.
2. He has held various leadership positions and has worked for community-based, provider-sponsored and nonprofit health plans, CareOregon said. He also brings experience with Medicaid programs and provider relations, as well as familiarity with mental and behavioral issues facing the community.
3. Currently, Mr. Hunter is COO of Boston Medical Center HealthNet Plan.
