Brett Richmond to serve as Methodist Fremont Health’s president

Omaha, Neb.-based Methodist Health Systems named Brett Richmond president of Methodist Fremont (Neb.) Health, according to a Fremont Tribune report.

Mr. Richmond will lead the system beginning Oct. 1, when the newly formed organization begins operations. Fremont Health finalized its affiliation with Methodist Health System July 23.

Most recently, Mr. Richmond served as senior vice president and COO of Fremont Health. He has 18-plus years of healthcare experience and is a fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. He is a master’s degree in finance from Rockhurst University in Kansas City, Mo.

Patrick Booth, Fremont Health’s president and CEO since 2008, will remain at the organization through December to assist in the transition, according to the report.
