Bayonne Medical Center names new COO

Bayonne (N.J.) Medical Center, part of Bayonne-based CarePoint Health, has named Paul Minnick COO, according to the Hudson Reporter.

As COO, Mr. Minnick assumes overall leadership of BMC. The hospital, like the other two in the CarePoint system, is led by a COO and CMO. Dennis Kelly serves as CEO of CarePoint Health and works across the three hospitals.

Most recently, Mr. Minnick served as executive vice president and COO of Beebe Medical Center in Lewes, Del. Before that, he was vice president of patient care at Virtua Memorial Hospital in Mount Holly, N.J.

Additionally, Mark Spektor is leaving his post as president to take a role with Jersey City, N.J.-based CarePoint Insurance.
