Baptist Health Selects Dr. David Bensema as CIO

Louisville, Ky.-based Baptist Health has appointed David Bensema, MD, as CIO, effective immediately.

Dr. Bensema has served as chief medical information officer for Baptist Health since July. He joined Baptist Health in 2006 as executive director of physician services for Central Baptist Hospital — now Baptist Health Lexington — as well as medical director of Baptist Physicians Lexington.

Dr. Bensema is a board certified internist.
