Baptist Health Paducah (Ky.) President William A. Brown stepped down from the role Aug. 18, effective immediately, according to a Paducah Sun report.

1. The hospital has not commented on the reason for Mr. Brown’s departure.

2. Mr. Brown assumed the president role at Baptist Health Paducah in 2013.

3. During his tenure, the hospital completed several renovation and expansion projects, including renovating the Ray & Kay Eckstein Regional Cancer Care Center.

4. He formerly served as CEO of VHS West Suburban Medical Center in Oak Park, Ill.
