1. Ms. Karsten currently serves as CEO of North Colorado Medical Center in Greeley, McKee Medical Center in Loveland, Colo., and Banner Fort Collins (Colo.) Medical Center.
2. She will continue to oversee the three hospitals as CEO in addition to her new role.
3. Her previous roles include serving as chief executive of Cheyenne (Wyo.) Regional Medical Center and in leadership roles at Poudre Valley Hospital in Fort Collins.
4. She succeeds Jim Ferando as Western Division president, who is retiring.
