Avera St. Luke’s Hospital in Aberdeen, S.D., appointed Kelli Fischer, BSN, MSN, vice president of patient care and chief nursing officer, according to an Aberdeen News report.

1. Ms. Fisher has worked at Avera St. Luke’s since 2009.

2. She started her nursing career at Aberdeen-based Avera Dakota Plains Surgical Center.

3. She earned a master’s degree in nursing and leadership management from Walden University in Minneapolis.
