Atrium Health selects new chief learning officer: 4 things to know

Charlotte, N.C.-based Atrium Health appointed Christina Coidakis Barss, PhD, vice president and chief learning officer, effective May 6.

Four things to know:

1. Dr. Coidakis Barss most recently served as vice president of strategic learning and development at Newark, Del.-based Christiana Care Health System.

2. She was corporate director of leadership and learning at Houston Methodist and an associate director of the learning academy at the Cleveland Clinic.

3. She is an adjunct faculty member of New England College in Henniker, N.H.

4. As chief learning officer, Dr. Coidakis Barss will be responsible for professional development, engagement and organizational culture initiatives systemwide.
