HCA Florida Largo Hospital named Kapil Mehta, MD, chief medical officer.
Dr. Mehta has a background in clinical strategy, operations and quality excellence, according to an Oct. 3 system news release.
“I look forward to building on the hospital’s strong foundation of clinical excellence and continuing to improve the health of our community,” said Dr. Mehta.
Previously, he served as medical director for quality and safety at Indianapolis-based Ascension St. Vincent since 2020.
