Ascension Health Michigan announces CEO leadership consolidation

Ascension Health Michigan is consolidating CEO leadership for its Mid-Michigan region. As a result, the position of president and CEO of St. Mary’s of Michigan-Saginaw, currently held by John Graham, will be eliminated.

Mr. Graham has served as president and CEO of St. Mary’s of Michigan-Saginaw since October 2008.

Starting Jan. 1, 2015, Betsey Aderholdt, president and CEO of Genesys Health System in Grand Blanc, will expand her duties to include the overall leadership responsibilities of St. Mary’s of Michigan-Saginaw, St. Mary’s of Michigan-Standish and St. Joseph’s Health System (also a member of St. Mary’s of Michigan) in Tawas.

Ms. Aderholdt has worked in healthcare administration for 34 years. She was named president and CEO of Genesys Health System in April 2011, before which she served as president of Genesys Regional Medical Center in Grand Blanc, Mich., from August 2007.
