Allegheny Health’s Jefferson Hospital names Louise Urban CEO

Louise Urban is the new president and CEO of Jefferson Hospital in Pittsburgh, part of Allegheny Health Network, according to a Pittsburgh Tribune-Review report.

Ms. Urban has worked at 370-bed Jefferson Hospital since 1991, first as a registered nurse in the intensive care unit. She has held several senior leadership positions since then, including vice president and COO.

Ms. Urban will succeed John Dempster, who is taking on a new administrative role with AHN, according to the report.
