Albany Medical Center names new CFO: 3 things to know

Albany (N.Y.) Medical Center has named Frances Spreer-Albert as its new CFO and executive vice president, according to the Albany Business Review.

The position was previously held by William Hasselbarth.

Here are three things to know about Ms. Spreer-Albert:

1. She has been with Albany Med since 2000 and was previously senior vice president of finance.

2. CFO, Ms. Spreer-Albert will oversee a budget of more than $1.2 billion.

3. Before transitioning to the healthcare field, Ms. Spreer-Albert was employed by the accounting firm KPMG.
