After only 90 days, Plantation General Hospital CEO Robert Lee departs

Plantation (Fla.) General Hospital CEO Robert Lee has resigned, according to a South Florida Business Journal report. Mr. Lee took on the role on June 1.

Plantation General Hospital is a part of Hospital Corporation of America East Florida in Ft. Lauderdale. Mr. Lee has been with HCA since 1992, and he most recently served as CEO of Raulerson Hospital in Okeechobee, Fla.

Sara Callari, spokesperson for HCA East Florida, announced Mr. Lee’s resignation, but did not give a reason for his departure. The hospital’s CFO Tony Gomez and COO Patrick Rohan are currently taking on Mr. Lee’s responsibilities.

HCA East Florida previously announced plans to move 200 of Plantation General Hospital’s beds to a new hospital the company is building in Ft. Lauderdale, according to the report.
