Advocate Health taps CVS exec as new chief marketing officer

Nicole Phillips has been named senior vice president and chief marketing, brand and consumer experience officer of Charlotte, N.C.-based Advocate Health.

She spent the past decade at CVS Health, most recently as chief marketing officer of CVS Caremark, the company’s pharmacy benefit manager. She has also worked in branding leadership roles at Procter & Gamble, Staples and children’s products manufacturer Dorel Juvenile.

“Nicole is deeply passionate about consumers and bringing their voices to the forefront of the work that she leads,” said Kinneil Coltman, senior executive vice president and chief consumer and social impact officer of Advocate Health, in a Dec. 19 news release. “Her career has been highlighted by consistently delivering a more seamless and personalized experience for consumers, raising the bar for engagement and consumer experience.”

Advocate Health is the nation’s third-largest nonprofit health system, with roughly $38 billion in annual revenue and 69 hospitals across Alabama, Georgia, Illinois, North Carolina, South Carolina and Wisconsin. Its regional brands are Downers Grove, Ill.-based Advocate Health Care, Charlotte-based Atrium Health and Milwaukee-based Aurora Health Care.
