Advocate Aurora taps Terika Richardson as president of Chicagoland patient service area

Advocate Lutheran General President Terika Richardson has been appointed president of Advocate Aurora Health's central Chicagoland patient service area.

Ms. Richardson assumes her new role Jan. 5.

She will offer strategic oversight and growth accountability for Park Ridge, Ill.-based Advocate Lutheran General Hospital, Downers Grove-based Advocate Good Samaritan Hospital and Advocate Illinois Masonic Medical Center in Chicago, and ambulatory operations in the central Chicagoland patient service area, according to a news release. 

She also will continue serving as president of Advocate Lutheran General. 

Previously, Ms. Richardson led Advocate South Suburban Hospital in Hazel Crest, Ill., and was president of Advocate Trinity Hospital in Chicago. She also served as CEO of Retreat Doctors' Hospital in Richmond, Va.
