8 latest hospital, health system CEO moves

The following hospital and health system CEO moves were reported by Becker's Hospital Review in the last week. They are listed below, beginning with the most recent.

1. Maria Parham Medical Center in Henderson, N.C., named Bert Beard CEO, effective Aug. 22.

2. Robert "Bob" Copeland was hired as CEO of Covenant Health Plainview (Texas).

3. Valley View Medical Center in Fort Mohave, Ariz., named Feliciano Jiron CEO. Mr. Jiron replaces Fred Capozello, who decided to step down from his position.

4. Huggins Hospital in Wolfeboro, N.H., named Jeremy Roberge president and CEO.

5. Gregg Davidson, president and CEO of Mount Vernon, Wash.-based Skagit Regional Health, stepped down amid an inquiry that could leave Skagit Valley Hospital without Medicare funding.

6. Randy Olson, CEO of Lane Regional Medical Center in Zachary, La., plans to retire.

7. Alex Villa, CEO of Bullhead City-based Western Arizona Regional Medical Center, is leaving his position to accept a job as CEO of Tennova Healthcare-Clarksville (Tenn.).

8. David S. Wagner was appointed CEO of Pearland (Texas) Medical Center, effective Aug. 8.
