Three leaders have exited Portland-based Oregon Health & Science University in 2026, in addition to CEO Tarek Salaway.

Most recently, Tionna Foglio-Reed, senior executive assistant to the CEO and OHSU Health, exited the organization April 3, a health system spokesperson confirmed to Becker’s April 9. She was named executive administrator of Vista Capital Partners, Ms. Foglio-Reed wrote in a March 30 LinkedIn post.

Brooke Lippincott, senior vice president and chief ambulatory officer, exited March 20 and joined Vancouver, Wash.-based PeaceHealth as senior vice president of ambulatory services March 23. Tim Kringen, a senior advisor, exited the organization Feb. 18, the spokesperson confirmed.

OHSU President Shereef Elnahal, MD, told staff April 3 that Mr. Salaway is no longer CEO. Mr. Salaway’s attorney, Jackie Ford, told Becker’s that OHSU terminated his employment after not taking his concerns about bias and resource waste seriously.

The recent exits follow longer turnover in the CEO role.

Mr. Salaway was named CEO in November and succeeded Tim Goldfarb, who had been serving as interim CEO since January 2025. Mr. Goldfarb replaced Ann Rice, who held the interim CEO role for five weeks before him.

COO Joe Ness served as interim CEO before Ms. Rice took on the role in December 2024. Mr. Ness had succeeded John Hunter, MD, who stepped down as CEO in June 2024.

Mr. Ness exited the organization in August after OHSU eliminated the COO role.
