1. Sharp Coronado (Calif.) Hospital announced that Susan Stone has been named its CEO.

2. Kingston, N.Y.-based HealthAlliance of the Hudson Valley President and CEO David Lundquist resigned.

3. Wishard-Eskenazi Health, based in Indianapolis, appointed Parveen Chand as COO.

4. Clearview Regional Medical Center in Monroe, Ga., announced that James Machado has been named its CEO.

5. Fountain Valley (Calif.) Regional Medical Center announced that B. Joseph Badalian has been named its CEO.

6. Piedmont Atlanta Hospital announced that it appointed Ed Lovern as COO, effective July 29.

7. Yakima (Wash.) Valley Memorial Hospital CEO Rick Linneweh will retire Jan. 20, 2014.

8. Pittsfield, Maine-based Sebasticook Valley Health announced that Terri Vieira has been appointed as its permanent president and CEO.

9. Middle Park Medical Center in Kremmling, Colo., formerly known as the Kremmling Memorial Hospital District, announced that Cole White has been named its permanent CEO.

13. Camden Clark Medical Center in Parkersburg, W.Va., appointed David McClure as executive vice president and COO.

14. Several executives within Pittsburgh-based Allegheny Health Network, the integrated system owned by health insurer Highmark, are losing their jobs in what the system called a streamlining of operations.

15. Manchester, N.H.-based Elliot Health System President and CEO Doug Dean announced that he will retire in June 2014.

21. PeaceHealth Peace Harbor Medical Center in Florence, Ore., announced that its CEO, Rick Yecny, has been given the additional title of chief mission officer.

22. PeaceHealth St. John Medical Center in Longview, Wash., announced that its CEO and chief mission officer, Josiah Johnson, has been appointed to the newly created position of COO of the PeaceHealth Columbia Network.
