10 recent hospital, health system CEO moves

Becker’s Hospital Review reported the following hospital and health system CEO moves in the last week.

The executives are listed below, alphabetically.

1. West Palm Beach, Fla.-based Rennova Health named Michael Alexander CEO of Jamestown (Tenn.) Regional Medical Center, effective June 10.

2. Augusta (Ga.) University Medical Center named Phillip Coule, MD, interim CEO.

3. UP Health System-Marquette (Mich.) tapped Jerry Dooley to serve as interim CEO, effective June 19.

4. Claiborne Memorial Medical Center in Homer, La., appointed Tina Haynes interim CEO.

5. St. Louis-based Ascension named Joseph R. Impicciche transitional president and CEO.

6. New London (N.H.) Hospital CEO Bruce King is planning to retire at the end of 2019.

7. Lee Ann Liska, CEO of Augusta (Ga.) University Medical Center and executive vice president of health affairs at Augusta University, has resigned, effective June 6.

8. Duluth, Minn.-based St. Luke’s Health System tapped Kevin Nokels to serve as president and CEO, effective Aug. 12.

9. St. Louis-based Ascension CEO Anthony R. Tersigni, EdD, who will retire Dec. 31, is transitioning out of the CEO role, effective July 1.

10. Gary Weinstein, president and CEO of Washington (Pa.) Health System, is retiring, effective June 30.
