10 latest hospital, health system CEO moves

The following hospital and health system CEO moves were reported in Becker's Hospital Review in the last week. They are listed below, beginning with the most recent.

1. Jefferson Regional Medical Center in Pine Bluff, Ark., named Brian Thomas its permanent president and CEO.

2. Richmond-based Hospital Corporation of America Virginia selected David Donaldson to serve as CEO of Parham Doctors' Hospital.

3. Memphis, Tenn.-based Methodist Le Bonheur Healthcare appointed Florence Jones, RN, DNP, CEO of Methodist North Hospital in Memphis, effective immediately.

4. Houston-based Memorial Hermann Health System named Josh Urban senior vice president and CEO of Memorial Hermann Northeast Hospital in Humble, Texas, effective Feb. 6, 2017.

5. Memorial Hermann Cypress (Texas) Hospital Senior Vice President and CEO Scott Barbe is retiring, effective July 8, 2017.

6. Houston-based Memorial Hermann Health System appointed Heath Rushing as senior vice president and CEO for Memorial Hermann Katy (Texas) Hospital and Memorial Hermann Cypress (Texas) Hospital.

7. The Memorial Hospital of Salem (N.J.) County appointed Jay de los Reyes interim CEO.

8. Salisbury, Md.-based Peninsula Regional Health System and Peninsula Regional Medical Center named Steven E. Leonard president and CEO designate. He will assume the roles on Jan. 4, 2018.

9. Lafayette, Colo.-based Good Samaritan Medical Center President and CEO Dave Hamm announced plans to retire at the end of March.

10. Davis Regional Medical Center in Statesville, N.C., announced CEO Chad French resigned, making him the fourth person to leave the post in four years.
