The devices are intended to enhance medication administration accuracy. Healthcare workers can use the TC51-HC mobile computer with Android to call and text co-workers, receive calls, access patient records and scan barcodes.
The DS8100-HC series scanners feature special plastics to help prevent the spread of bacteria and user-selectable feedback modes to notify healthcare workers that a barcode was properly captured.
The company is showcasing the devices at the 2017 HIMSS Annual Conference & Exhibition, Feb. 19 to Feb. 23, 2017, in Orlando.
