VA Seeks Proposals for New Scheduling Technology

The Department of Veterans Affairs is planning on releasing a request for proposals for a new scheduling system, according to an FCW report.

The VA currently uses the VistA electronic health record, a platform the VA themselves developed. VistA offers a clinical EHR element and an administrative element. The VA is searching for a commercial scheduling platform that works alongside the clinical side, according to the report.

The VA plans to release a request for proposals next week, according to the report.
