VA chief cloud strategist resigns

Roopangi Kadakia will step down from her post as chief cloud strategist for the U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs, according to Federal News Radio.

Ms. Kadakia, who joined the department in July 2016, is reportedly leaving the VA for a role in the private sector. She was initially appointed to the role of chief information security officer and took the mantle of chief cloud strategist in February.

Ms. Kadakia previously worked at the General Services Administration, NASA and the U.S. Department of Homeland Security.

Ms. Kadakia did not immediately respond to Federal News Radio‘s request for comment.
