For the challenge, Matter — a Chicago-based health technology startup hub — asked physicians, medical students, entrepreneurs and other healthcare professionals to address one of three issues in observation units: reimbursement loss, throughput or patient satisfaction.
In a presentation to Matter’s judging panel, Twiage showcased its real-time alert solution that facilitates timely documentation. The solution builds on Twiage’s existing prehospital communication and care coordination platform for emergency departments.
