The rise of mHelath: 157M users by 2020

The number of people using mHealth is expected to experience explosive growth over the next five years, according a Juniper Research study.

Over the past year, approximately 50 million people used mHealth solutions, such as SMS text messaging, mobile apps and interactive voice response services, according the report.

By 2020, the number of mHealth users is projected to more than triple to 157 million.
