Compared to June 2021, IT job growth is up 0.48 percent, according to the July 19 news release. Techserve Alliance CEO Mark Roberts said: “These numbers are wholly a reflection of the lack of supply of talent and not demand from businesses, as is clearly reflected in the 2.2 percent and 2.5 percent unemployment rates for IT and engineering professionals, respectively.”
TechServe Alliance predicts that “the overall need for technology professionals will continue to outstrip supply for the foreseeable future.”
