The new telehealth program, called WCMG-NOW Telehealth, provides patients with primary care services for conditions such as colds, seasonal allergies and skin infections. Patients are connected with a provider via video chat on their computer or mobile device for diagnosis, treatment and prescription.

The service, which is offered on weeknights and from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. on weekends, is provided by a $250,000 donation from John and Joanne Patrick, two local philanthropists focused on improving health in the community.
