Through this collaboration, AHOD providers will be able to review and share access to health information and medical records while treating patients via telemedicine. These providers can also connect after-visit summaries to the health exchange for future review by the patient’s primary care provider.
The ultimate goal of the partnership is to promote continuity of care for patients.
“Partnering with GLHC allows patients and providers to work together to optimize care and control costs, while insuring accurate and secure transfer of their health information and greater collaboration between providers,” said John Deveau, DO, the medical director for AHOD. “This is better for patients, as well as the people and organizations caring for patients.”
