Here are the top seven reasons patients prefer virtual visits, according to the consultant’s survey of 1,267 virtual-first consumers released Oct. 16:

1. Convenience (offered better appointment times): 64%

2. Convenience (saved time on day of appointment): 44%

3. Convenience (shorter wait to get appointment): 37%

4. Cost (saved me money): 32%

5. Personal (better connection with a physician): 15%

6. Technology (prefer using technology for healthcare visits): 14%

7. Privacy (virtual visit would be more private/confidential): 8%
