The new services are available to all current and future members. Beginning Sept. 1, members will have immediate and 24/7 access to a licensed therapist.
Users can speak with counselors on the TelaCare app during a 45-minute visit. The visits can be made longer or shorter if needed, and they are conducted via smartphone, tablet, kiosk, phone or desktop. The counselors can also provide referral services.
TelaCare’s CEO Larry Jones notes that, “Unlike other telemedicine providers who charge an additional consult fee for this type of service, we will provide it at no additional charge to our members.”
