In its analysis, Keeper Security analyzed 10 million passwords that became public through data breaches in 2016. Breaches that were announced in 2016 but occurred in years prior were not included.
Here are the top 25 most popular passwords, according to Keeper Security’s research. Together, these passwords make up more than half of the 10 million passwords that were compromised.

Security Keeper noted that passwords such as “18atcskd2w” and “3rjs1la1qe” were likely auto-created by bots, “perhaps with the intention of posting spam onto the forums.”
