Reputation.com gains $20M from investment round

In a recent round of funding, Redwood City, Calif.-based Reputation.com, an online reputation management company, received a significant investment from Clayton, Mo.-based Ascension Ventures, a healthcare venture firm owned by St. Louis-based Ascension.

Seed-round funding totaled $20 million and includes investments from Ascension Ventures, August Capital, Bessemer Venture Partners and Kleiner Perkins, all based in Menlo Park, Calif.

"This investment demonstrates real confidence in the ability of our cloud-based reputation management platform to provide large healthcare systems with mission-critical patient feedback, right down to individual facilities and providers," said Reputation.com President and CEO Shrey Bhatia.
