ActX offers a service that analyzes genetic information in real time. CompuGroup Medical US is a global provider of healthcare software solutions. As per the partnership, ActX will integrate real-time genomic decision support tools into CGM’s EHR solutions — CGM webEHR and CGM CLINICAL.
ActX will build a full genomic profile in the patient’s chart. Providers will be able to check prescriptions for efficacy, adverse reactions and appropriate dosing. Additionally, it will alert the provider when non-medication genomic risks are found.
“We are excited to make precision medicine a reality for users of CGM’s EHR solutions,” said Andrew Ury MD, CEO of ActX in a statement. “CGM is a global market leader in EHR software and services, and we’re proud to be offering genomic decision support to the company’s physician customer base, within their normal workflow.”
