Reading Health System achieves HIMSS Stage 7

HIMSS Analytics has recognized Reading Health System with its Stage 7 award on its EMR Adoption Model.

The West Reading, Pa.-based health system joins the 3.7 percent of hospitals in the United States to achieve Stage 7.

“The Reading Health System is making great progress optimizing its EHR for the patients they serve,” said John H. Daniels, global vice president of healthcare advisory services group of HIMSS Analytics. “They have integrated several medical devices throughout the hospital to streamline nursing documentation and they have physician leaders who are helping their colleagues leverage the power of structured documentation also streamlining physician documentation processes.”
