Here are four things to know.
1. The Sectra PACS is integrated into ProMedica’s Epic EHR. “Sectra has been a great partner for us in our Epic implementation with its tight integration. We enjoy our relationship with their development and support teams who have allowed us to optimize the PACS environment as it complements our EHR,” said Debi Brobst, vice president of clinical services at ProMedica.
2. The chain has 13 hospitals. ProMedica plans to install the Sectra PACS in two recently acquired facilities.
3. Using the VNA, ProMedica will be able to view, distribute and archive one million images in specialties including radiology, cardiology, dermatology and ophthalmology.
4. The Sectra VNA is storage-vendor agnostic and workflow vendor independent.
