According to a statement, federal law enforcement officials notified the health department they had obtained a list of names and identifying information of clients of the Palm Beach County Health Department.
The breach affects more than 1,000 individuals, reports Palm Beach Post.
Compromised personal information includes names, birth dates, phone numbers. Social Security numbers, Medicaid numbers and medical record numbers. The health department did not provide details surrounding the nature of the breach.
