The “2011 EHR User Satisfaction Survey” included responses from 2,719 family physicians who had EHRs — an increase in participation of more than 550 percent since 2005. Family physicians reported being satisfied or very satisfied with the ability to customize their EHR (78 percent), the electronic prescribing capability (70 percent) and electronic messaging (69 percent).
