At PatientPing, Mr. Bhattacharya will launch initiatives that expand the company’s regional provider communities to improve care quality and lower healthcare costs.
“Effective population health management requires timely, reliable and relevant patient data to be seamlessly shared across care teams,” Mr. Bhattacharya said. “I am excited to lead the development of new solutions at the intersection of payers and providers to optimize clinical outcomes and improve financial performance and the patient experience.”
During his career at Epic, Mr. Bhattacharya helped create Healthy Planet, the company’s provider- and payer-facing population health platform. Prior to spearheading the development of Healthy Planet, Mr. Bhattacharya led Epic’s ambulatory EHR and was responsible for technology focused on data analytics, case management, customer relationship management, physician and employer engagement, and health plan administration.
