TriMedx adds healthcare Aramark technologies business: 4 things to know

TriMedx, an Indianapolis-based provider of clinical asset management and clinical engineering services, will acquire Aramark’s healthcare technologies business.

Four things to know:

1. Aramark’s healthcare technologies business, Aramark HCT, provides repair and maintenance, outsourcing of clinical engineering services and other healthcare technologies services. The business serves more than 500 U.S. healthcare providers..

2. Through the acquisition, TriMedx will provide its solutions to a wider range of healthcare providers, according to company officials.

3. Henry Hummel, CEO of TriMedx, said: “We look forward to Aramark HCT’s talented associates joining the TRIMEDX team to support our strategic operating model focused on partnering with healthcare providers to drive measurable and persistent value.”

4. The transaction is expected to close in the fourth quarter of this year, pending regulatory approval.
