Hospital officials said they appreciated Meditech’s focus on automation and workflow efficiencies. “We asked all EHR vendors in the vetting process to answer these three questions: Tell us what your system was like three years ago, tell us where it is today and tell us where you’re going,” said Craig Terrell, CIO of OVSH.
“Meditech was the only vendor to release products after ARRA [American Recovery and Reinvestment Act] — that’s huge,” he continued. “It tells us that Meditech is a partner that will continue to research, develop and work with us to enhance our EHR over the years.”
