The Massachusetts Institute of Technology has announced the creation of the Medical Electronic Device Realization Center, which aims to develop electronic devices, diagnostics and treatments and technologies that enable information-driven healthcare systems, according to an MIT news release.
MEDRC, which was created in collaboration with Analog Devices and GE Global Research, will be led by MEDRC co-founder Charles Sodini, LeBel Professor of Electrical Engineering at MIT, Brian W. Anthony, director of the master of engineering in manufacturing program at MIT, and Joel Voldman, associate professor of electrical engineering and computer science at MIT.
